Flip Video
July 30, 2009 at 6:24 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentI have used Flip Video’s with my students last year. They loved this project. I had groups of 4 students a flip video and had them find examples of Force and Motion. We reviewed the ground rules and they were great. It was so much fun to see their creativity. Are they perfect, no but it is theirs and they were proud of it. Another thing that really showed was the students that didn’t put much effort into it were embarrassed. This can also be as a tool for students to “act out” a book. The students learned so much about the topic we were studying with the “real learning.” This could also be used for students at the beginning of the year to introduce themselves to the class. What a cool way to really see the students in their home environment. You could meet their family and the community in which they live away from school. Again, the possibilities are endless.
